Join our team as a Central Community Engagement Liaison to help drive the 2026 Action Plan. If you're
passionate about lactation support, community outreach, chapter development and workplace
advocacy, this role offers a chance to create meaningful change for families.
Key Responsibilities:
● Collaborate on 2026 Action Plan goals.
● Support recruitment for the Lactation Professional Workforce Development
● Engage in lactation support initiatives, including outreach, workplace, and chapter programs.
● Attend community events and professional conferences as a representative of NMBTF
● Maintain chapter webpages, social media, and resources as assigned
● Support strategies for maternal health in underserved areas.
● Strengthen workplace support programs and ensure state law compliance.
● Identify new partnerships to expand workplace efforts.
● Participate in key organizational events.
Qualifications:
● Passion for community support and maternal health.
● Strong organizational and communication skills.
● Experience with social media and web content.
● Knowledge of state workplace lactation laws is a plus.
● Problem-solving mindset, flexibility and adaptability.

Note: This is an independent contractor providing professional services to NMBTF. Contract position
requiring some travel. Reliable transportation and driver's license required. This position is available for
someone living in Bernalillo County.
Compensation: $35 per hour up to 50 hours a month. Please note that the hourly rate is fixed and
non-negotiable.
