With over 50 years of experience in leading US hospitals, and 27 years of compassionate, baby-led, developmentally informed, hands-on lactation support, I've cared for over 50,000 amazing babies.
Decades ago I was privileged to provide support for a wonderful young woman and her first baby as they began to breastfeed beautifully. I later heard that she went on to become one of the founding mothers of the NM Breastfeeding Task Force.
I've loved following NMBTF's growth over the years and always encourage new parents to connect with the terrific services, support and information the NM Breastfeeding Task Force provides.
In 1987, I helped create the first lactation program for the NICU at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. A CLC since 2019, I've became a proud member of the IBCLC global community in 2021 and am so fortunate to have been living on the sacred ground of northern NM since 1991. I offer lactation support in English and Spanish.
