Heidi Fredine, MPH
Bio:
Heidi Fredine, MPH, currently has a contract with the NM Breastfeeding Task Force to evaluate the impact of the WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor program. She previously served as the Data and Evaluation Manager for the Task Force supporting the organization’s evaluation needs and measuring its successes. In addition, she works as an epidemiologist at the University of New Mexico’s Center for Development and Disability coordinating and analyzing research data for a multitude of state and federally funded research. Her research interests include breastfeeding, oral health, perinatal health, transforming data into action, health care disparities, and access to health care for underserved populations. Heidi also tends to the care and feeding of her three school-aged children, whom she proudly breastfed for over six years in total.
